HCG Diet Recipes

 

HCG diet recipes can be categorized into three phases.  In the first phase, you will be allowed up to 2,000 calories.  In the second phase, you will be restricted to 500 calories.  In the final phase, you will increase up to 800 calories for women and 1,000 calories for men.

Although you are restricted, it is very important that you are not missing important proteins and vitamins.  Make sure you include lean meats, fruits, and vegetables in your 500 calories.   These HCG diet recipes are perfect for specific phases of your diet.  It is important that you pay attention to which phase each recipe is designed for before you prepare it.

HCG Diet Recipes – Phase 1

Pizza (HCG Style)

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ c lukewarm water
  • 1 ½ tbsp sugar
  • One package rapid-rise yeast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (plus more for oiling the dough)
  • 4 c all purpose, unbleached flour
  • 1 ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Oven should be preheated to 100 degrees.
  2. Mix a little bit of the yeast and sugar with the water.  Pulse the mixture in a full-size processor.  Add the flour, oil, salt, and mix together until mixed together and then process for 30 seconds more. Dough should be soft and sticky.  If it is too sticky, then mix in some flout and wheat.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface.   Squeeze to form a smooth ball.  Put the dough in a deep, lightly oiled pot.  Wrap with plastic.  Put in the warm 100 degree oven for 30 minutes to rise.  Remove dough once it has doubled in size.  Cuff down and knead on the lightly floured surface.  Divide into four balls.
  4. If the dough is cold, allow to get to room temperature and then roll.
  5. To roll, put the ball in the center of the floured surface.  Roll with a rolling pin.  Roll the dough from the center to the edges to create a 10 to 12 inch circle.
  6. Brush both sides of the dough with olive oil.
  7. Top with your choice of the following: sauce, meats, thinly sliced potatoes, peppers, eggplant, asparagus, zucchini, grated or crumbled cheese.
  8. Put on preheated grill and cook until dough is golden brown.

HCG Diet Recipes – Phase 2

Chicken over Leaf Lettuce

Ingredients

  • 2 c low sodium chicken broth
  • 1-2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1-2 tbsp onion powder
  • 1.5lbs chicken breast, fat trimmed
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 bunch of leaf lettuce, washed and cut into bite size pieces
  • ½ cucumber- diced
  • 3 tbsp salsa
  • Vinaigrette

Instructions

  1. Add chicken, chicken broth, and seasoning into a slow cooker.  Cook for 3 hours on high.
  2. Put the pieces of lettuce into bowls.
  3. Add in chicken, cucumber, and salsa.
  4. Drizzle vinaigrette on top of the mixture.

Taco Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 c spiral pasta
  • Grilled chicken
  • Taco sauce
  • Shredded lettuce
  • ¼ c chopped onions
  • Chopped black olives
  • ½ c chopped green pepper
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive or coconut oil

Instructions

1.      Cook the pasta as directed.   Drain.

2.      Sauté the chopped onions, black olives, green peppers, and grilled chicken until brown.

3.      Mix in taco sauce and lettuce.

HCG Recipes – Phase 3

Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower – chopped
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp red pepper
  • 1 c low fat whipped cream
  • 1 c chicken stalk
  • ½ c grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ tbsp white pepper
  • ½ tbsp salt

Instructions

  1. Boil cauliflower for 20 minutes.  They should be mushy.
  2. Simmer the mixture of low fat whipped cream, parmesan cheese, red pepper, and garlic for two minutes.
  3. Drain excess water from cauliflower and put them into a food blending machine.  Add in the chicken stalk, salt, white pepper.  Blend until sauce is smooth and thick.
  4. Spread parsley over it.
  5. Serve with low fat pasta and chicken salad.
